We are a Danish couple who love to travel and experience new cultures. We've been together for 2 and a half year and met through Rotary Youth Exchange. Christian lived in Otorohanga, New Zealand for one year and Amanda in Chillán, Chile. Apart from that we have traveled a lot together and apart and we love meeting new people.

Amanda is studying Language and International Studies at Aalborg university and Christian is about to finish his bachelor in Business in Aalborg as well - he recently moved here from Copenhagen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to get to know a new place is to get to know its people. We therefore believe that it would be cool to meet up with or stay with locals. We are quite new to the couchsurfing community but we hope we can host some surfers ourselves.

Music, Movies, and Books

Christian is what you would call a movie entusiast ("I fucking love cinema!") - he is always up to day with the newest movies and serious, has watched all old classics and can recognize almost every actor just by hearing their voice. He does not really have a favourite actor but he really enjoys Anthony Hopkins and Sean Connery and his favourite character is Captain Jack Sparrow.

Amanda is more of a book worm, she loves crime novels and fantasy. The two books she has read the most must be Harry Potter (in Danish, English and Spanish) and The Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel.

We both have the same taste in music, which is very broad, and we enjoy everything from Norah Jones to ACDC.
