About Me

Hi everybody! :)

I'm a 22 years old girl who wants to see the world. I study History and Portuguese at Masaryk University in Brno. I have to admit, that I absolutely love learning about details which happend in history. I know some bizzare facts - if you're interested, I can tell you few of them (most of them are conected with my country so they might not be as interesting and fascinating for you as they are for me).

I consider myself as friendly, talkative and quite open-minded person. I'm always trying to smile, because nobody wants to see sad faces. I enjoy going outside with my friends - to go to a pub or just walk around the city and buy an icecream for example. :) Unfortunately, I'm also a bit moody, but I'm trying not to be when I'm with people who don't know me as much as my family and close friends - they're used to my moods. :))

I can spend one entire day in bed reading a book or doing nothing and some day I have mood to go running all around the world - once I start running, this feeling is gone... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The biggest reason for me is that you meet a lot of new people. I think that if you really want to get to know the country, you should start with the people and their culture and habits.

Interests

I love travelling around the Czech Republic, though if I have a chance to go abroad, I take it! It is lovely to see how people in other countries live, what their habits are and how much different they are in comparison with ours.
As I have mentioned above I study history and it contains lots of reading - mostly the non-fiction literature. So that the next reason why I love holiday is that I can read whichever book I want. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I don't have one or two specific genres of music which I like. I can say that I like a touch of every genre (except for metal and other 'screaming types'), though my favourites are: Justin Timberlake, Bastille, Sia, Tom Odell, Imagine Dragons, Beyoncé etc.

BOOKS
My favourite book is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Other: 1984, Animal Farm, Little Prince, The Great Gatsby, The Hunger Games, The Norwegien Wood, Médeia, The Death is my Trade... And of course, as it is for my study department, I like books about history.

MOVIES
I'm a fan of Wes Anderson's films. I also like Inception, The Way Back, The Cloud Atlas, 12 Angry Men and lot's of animated movies :)
+ a huge fan of series - Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time, Vikings, 2 Broke Girls, HIMYM, Simpsons, The White Queen..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that this amazing thing is still waiting for me somewhere.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to see different cultures, make new friends, share traditions and I'm excited about learning useful phrases in foreign languages. If you know something about history of your country, I would like to hear everything you know. :)

I can teach you some cheap and fast meals (=student life)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to talk about my culture and compare it with others! It is utterly interesting how things can be different in other countries. :)
What I can share is my knowledge of history (mainly the czech history, but I also know some interesting facts from other countries :)), good vibe, fun and I always come with some small present as a huge thanks for letting me sleep at your couch. :)

Countries I’ve Visited
