Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the beginning it was terrible sums for travel Russian researcher to abroad due to crisis and my granddaughter presented me about another chance. But very soon I understood that we have had very new reality for our development and get much pleasure. I intend to become more active in this field.

Interests

I have became open to new types of activity. Before current times I spent huge time before a computer monitor - preparing my texts, my lectures, my reports. My granddaughter have offered varoius ideas related to the modern world and I move from my duties and started examining social reality . To watch films, to attend exibitions, to study various exciting materials. My preferences are to sudy, to learn, to teach not only students in universities but also young children and pupils of first grades of schools. I have revealed very effective ideas how to develop exciting board games and produced two of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music Ray Charles, Elton John, Beyounce, children Quier PS22...
In last times it was classical music, especially opera, simphonies, Chaikovsky, Bethoven, Ravel... In that time my generation in Russia was very keen poetry - Lorka, Mistral, Pablo Neruda, Marina Scvetaeva, Anna Ahmatova, we attended a lot of concerts to listen poetry.
I revealed (with support of my granddaughter) a lot of films about environment in schools - Хористы, Учитель на замену...
The most exciting film for me in last year - Backbroken Mounteen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a succesful rockclimbist (skalolazanie) - I won 7 times championship in our city, it was exciting emotion.

What I Can Share with Hosts

To play in my exciting educational games. To talk about the modern reality and different possibilities for self-realization. To stay in the Center of St. Petersburg - to get Hermitage in 10 minuts, St. Isaac Cathedral in three minuts, river Neva in 5-6 min.
