About Me
Hi everyone,
My name is Séverine and I am currently following a master in business engineering. When I am not in a rush for studies, I love travelling and having drinks with friends. I am a dynamic girl who is invested in many student associations in my faculty, I love meeting new people and experimenting new things. I am also open minded, easy to live (nice & clean) and talkative .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Thanks to my studies, I had the chance to go on erasmus (in Budapest) and it was an incredible experience. There, I discovered so many different cultures and really great people. What I really loved was the spirit of all the erasmus students : everybody is so open minded and it was so easy to get know each other and have fun together. That's why, when I went back home I became a member of the ESN ('Erasmus student network') in my faculty in order to keep rub shoulders with erasmus students as well as help them to get to know the town and become integrated. Now, I am on Couchsurfing because I think it is a similar experience. You meet unexpected people and share your respective stories. I find that really exciting !
Interests
I like doing sport. I am currently doing some fitness classes and jogging. But I used to dance, climb, do volley ball, tennis, athletics, ... I also love skiing during winter holidays.
Besides, I have a big interest for fashion. I go to exhibitions, fashion shows and I follow fashion blogs as well. My professional objective is to work in this industry.
I used to go to the scouts and now I go to the summercamp as a cook. I really like the ambiance of camps. You don't dress up, you live in the nature, everybody is chilled, singing songs, there is no wifi. I find this really relaxing.
And of course I love travelling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
With the scouts, I had the chance to go in India for a month and help people from the slum. The school had burned a bit earlier in the year, so we painted the whole school. We also set up a tank and played with children. This experience was truly amazing. They welcomed us so well while they did not have that much and they were so grateful for our work. Helping these people really teached me something about life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would be glad to show you nice spots in town, make you taste amazing chocolates, beers and waffles of Liège and share a dinner with you.
