Hi! I'm Nuria! I'm 21 years old and I live in Castellar del Valles. Castellar is 40 minutes far from Barcelona by train and bus (maybe if you want to stay in the city center I am not the best choice.. BUUUUT... We could meet in Barcelona and stay together all day!).

I am this kind of people that are always changing their mind. One day I want to be a nurse and the other one I want to be a teacher or stop studing. I don't know what I want to be in the future ot what is going to be my job. I just know one thing: I don't want to stop travelling and discovering new cultures.
I like taking care of the people and I really like everything related with healthcaring. I consider that I am very empathetic and I suppose that this is what makes me be such a very good nurse. When I am working, the most important for me is to make pacients feel comportable and happy.
Being empathetic makes me love all the differents cultures and undestand the different kinds of thinking. I'm very interested in differents religions and habits and that's one of the reasons I like travelling, to know new people and learn about them and become a better person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said in the section "about me" I'm very interested in differents religions and habits. I'm in couchsurfing to know new people and learn about them and become a better person. I think that couchsurfing gives me all I need because it's a way of travelling and meeting new and different people.

Interests

As you can figure, I love health science and I spend most of my time reading or searching articles about health inovations or different kinds of diseases.
I like basketball, when I was young I used to play it but some years ago I had an injury that made me stop playing and now every weekend I go to see and support my favourite team.
I also like running, well I'm starting running but I really like it. This sport makes me feel very alive and well with myself and some day I will run a race... yes, I will!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading books. The last book I have read is "The name of the wind" and now I'm starting the following one "The wise man's fear". I like that kind of books to spend my time and disconnect my mind of the world. My favourite one.. well I don't know, maybe it's so typica but "The hunger games" book it's my favourite book at the moment.
I also like TV series but actually I don't have time for them, because I don't spend a lot of time at home. My favourite TV series are Grey's Anatomy, Game of Thrones, How I met your mother? and Gossip girl. Now I'm starting Breaking Bad.
I don't have a favourite kind of music, everything that could be danced will be good for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe for an other person it woldn't be amazing but... one amazing thing I've done is going to see a carotid surgery and don't get sick! Or curing the bed of an amputation without doubting, yeah if you thing in it could be disgusting but I like it and little people can do it!

I'm open to everything because in this live we have to know about everyting. What I like most and what I can talk about is healthscience but I don't want to live talking only about it, so I want to learn as much as possible!
