I am a freelance photographer, and enjoy writing and creating. I was born in Colombia, and now I´m living in Valencia - Spain. Everyday I like to learn new ways of doing things. I spend a lot of time trying new recipes in the kitchen, and I like to share them with my friends, with a nice glass of wine.
One of my favourite hobbies is dancing, and I usually practice African dance and percussion once a week. I also enjoy yoga and meditation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel a lot, whenever I have the opportunity. I like meeting locals because it´s the best way to know a place, so I believe that couchsurfing it´s great for cultural exchanges. I don´t think myself as a tourist, but as a traveler, so I like to challenge the touristic system.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of genres of music with african roots, like afrobeat, jazz , bossa nova, latin, blues, rock and soul.
When it comes to literature, I prefer novels of writers like Haruki Murakami, Amy Tan, Arundhati Roy, Ben Okri or Paul Auster, between many others.
I love going to the cinema. I usually watch independent and art movies.
