Currently on a bike tour going across the country. On the last leg of the trip. I will be heading to Asheville NC before heading north to New York NY. I enjoy cycling and trying new things. This is my first bike tour. Hoping the new bike rack is more durable than the last.

For the moment I'm a math instructor at Portland Community College.

Looking for places to stay while I'm out on my bike tour. So far had overall good experiences with warmshowers.org(the bike tour version of couch surfing). A few places I willl be traveling through have little to none warm shower hosts. So I'm hoping to encounter some couch surfing folks that will host for a night.

Not sure if I would quantify this as amazing, but I have biking 200 miles in a day(STP 2014), gone 52.1 mph with a near blow out on a bicycle, and eaten sannakji(live octopus in South Korea).
