About Me
Hello !
I am a 19 year old student from Scotland looking to discover new places and meet new people. I love travelling and learning languages and cultures of many countries and would love to meet and share our interests!
* please note - Im moving about myself right now between Sweden France and Scotland and have no real place for myself never mind anyone else* please feel free to message me and we can hang out but im afraid i can't host anyone for the time being****
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the moment I'm in my third year of University studying foreign languages (French & Swedish) as well as European Union Studies. I travel to as many places as I can in between my studies but being a full time student, money isn't always available for both flights and hostels so couch surfing seems like a brilliant idea to travel and see the world and allow others to do the same without worrying about affording things.
Interests
I love art, animals ( i have 4 dogs and 4 rabbits at home in Scotland). I also know some piano and would love to pick up on my guitar again at some point. I read a lot and love chilling in the sunshine reading a book or having drinks with friends. I also like just sitting talking and learning languages, hence my University degree!

Music, Movies, and Books
music - a WIDE variety. I like anything from Taylor Swift to EDM deep house dance music haha! music is relatable to your moods, so I listen to whatever I feel like that day...
favourite movies - anything with a story and makes you think, the same with books but my favourite book at the moment is "a man called Ove" By Fredrik Backman, and have read both copies in swedish and english.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
emmm..... in April 2015 myself and my friend from my job in Edinburgh hitchhiked for charity. The aim was to get as far away from Edinburgh as possible without spending any money on travel and we managed to get as far as Zaragoza in spain in the allocated time of 48 hours. This involved numerous short car journeys, a hitchhike on the dover to callais ferry and driving down the west coast of france and into spain (taking around 15 hours in a truck with a man who could speak no english other than 'no problem!')
by far the most exhausting thing I've ever done *didnt sleep* but pretty amazing to think we travelled 963 miles without spending a penny on travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am probably going to be the one learning from you! but if there is something I can teach you, maybe of scottish culture and heritage or maybe even a few words of Swedish, I'd be more than happy to!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am open to talking with hosts, sharing my experiences and learning from theirs too. I like to make the most of my time wherever I am and usually spend full days getting myself lost to try get to know the place better. I am quiet enough and if you don't like a lot of attention/ people hanging around I'm the perfect couch surfer. I like my own space and reading a book in a corner somewhere but I also equally like spending time with 1 person or a large group of people having drinks or just generally having a good time!
