I'm a young geologist engineer, actually looking for a job. I come from Issou, a little town 40km west from Paris. My studies were in Beauvais, 1h north from Paris, where I spend 5 years studying rocks and minerals.

I have two older sisters, one nephew and two little nieces. I'm the only one backpacker in my family. I have french-algerian "blackfeet" and italian ancestors from my father. My mother is a polish immigrate so I think this is why I'm so interested in foreign cultures.

So, I'm a social, adventurous, funny, nature-addict and talkative scientist ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, discover new cultures and meet new people. I like to live in the present and I think that couch-surfing is a nice opportunity that connect all this things together. I also like to think out of the box, so spending time with locals at their home, and later, letting them be my guests are actually the kind of great experiences I'm looking for when I'm traveling !

Interests

First I'm in love with Nature, wild life and plants as well as rocks and mountains.
I'm very fond of dinosaurs, astronomy and space, I'm interested in all sciences in general and I'm very keen on Buddhist culture which I think is really connected to science. I love to hike, to ride, skate and to draw. I love spending as much time as possible in Nature and learning new things about everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love so much Dire Straits, I could say it's my favorite band. I also really like Coldplay and Lana Del Rey for my favorites. But I really enjoy a lot of music like any 80's electronic sounds, movies soundtracks (John Williams and Michael Giacchino are my lords), old 70's and 80's rock'N'roll and also new sounds like electro and pop.

Movies... I would simply say that Steven Spielberg and J.J.Abrams are the directors which movies I love the most !!! But I also tend to like any movies talking about space, real stories and of course I love Star Wars !

I read Science&Life magazine. I love books because of the knowledge they contain, but I barely find the desire to read. I wish I red more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a trek on the Annapurnas (Nepalese Himalayas) on July 2014. It was the most exotic, emotional, resourceful experience I ever had ! We were 6 students, with a mountain guide, walking at the bottom of the highest mountains of the world, taking a little risks sometimes, during 7 days of pure joy in one of the most peaceful and astonishing location in the World. Waaaaow ! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you anything you want to know about rocks and minerals, and even things you couldn't believe you needed to know ;) I can teach you French and a little polish.

I would like to learn polish, better than I actually do and anything about your culture !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can't accept gest right now because I'm actually living at my parent's home who are not ok with couch-surfing. But as soon as I have a job and a place to live, I will accept guest.

With Hosts I can help to cook or help anyway for usual needs. If you want to me to do bigger things, I'm ok but I'll need to learn first and I'm a good apprentice :) I can also bring French product to show you how good the French food is ;)
