Why I’m on Couchsurfing

...I'm an open-minded person and I really like to get in touch with people all over the world...I want to get to know locals on the places I visit and I also enjoy to share impressions of my own culture with my guests...and I think couchsurfing is a nice way to do that =)

Interests

Sport is an important part of my life. I love climbing and bouldering! ...one of my side jobs is to work as a trainer and route setter in the boulder gym around the corner, so my guests will always be welcome to join me for a boulder session and some cool drinks after =)
I also like every kind of outdoor activities...and I'm always open to try new things.

Lately I started skydiving...a new addiction...and a feeling of absolute freedom. Jumping out of planes rocks =)

I'm also working on "understanding people" in my PhD thesis, especially I try to find out what drives individuals to support crowdfunding projects...fascinating and confusing at the same time =)
