I am many things - a researcher, a boxer, an explorer, a sucker for adventure, a risk taker, a friend. Spontaneity and uncertainty excite me! I believe in venturing into the unknown, and grabbing opportunities by the horns. I also hunger for conversations that dive deeper than the topics of small talk, although I'm still working on getting people to reveal their deepest darkest secrets to me ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because through locals is the best way to get to know a place, and if that comes with making new friends, sign me the hell up. Am always up for learning new things, and to hear different perspectives on controversial topics. Also I promise I am nice and hygienic... can I stay on your couch please?

I enjoy country artistes like Dan and Shay, Brett Young, Carrie Underwood, and Hunter Hayes. Am also a fan of anything with chill vibes or a sick groovy beat.

Not much of a movie buff but I really like Fight Club. I also really enjoy Hong Kong (Forensic Heroes), American (Criminal Minds, The Office, Homeland), and Israeli (Fauda) series!

Currently reading Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman - an oldie but a goodie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Caught the sunrise while in a hot air balloon in Luxor, Egypt that overlooked the Valley of the Kings and the Nile River - just about the most breathtaking sight I've witnessed in awhile.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything and everything in my capacity! Perhaps I can teach you some Mandarin and complain to you a little about Singapore's competitiveness and education system. I struggle to explain Singlish, but I would gladly struggle in teaching you the ways of "lahs" and "lehs" and "simi lanjiaos". I think I can also lend a pretty good hand in the kitchen!
