About Me
Hey world! :)
I'm a 23 years old philosophy student who comes from umbria but has been living in turin since 2011, studing phylosophy there, contemporary dance and capoeira.
I'm an extremely easygoing person who loves to meet new and interesting people, exchanging ideas and experiences.
I love moving, dancing especially, reading good (bad, also!) books, writing and acting, for I've attended a very experimental school as a kid and started there acting, dancing, painting and writing...and I somehow stiked to it :)
I also adore spending time in nature, climbing o hiking or simply taking a walk into the green, alone or not.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I chose couch surfing for it is an extremely interesting way of traveling around this big big world :) It seems desined and tought to allow couch surfers to really experience the place where they'll stay, not only passing by in a lonely hotel, wich is to say that couch surfing has the enormous advantage of human connetion. Given this, the right question , I guess, is "why are you NOT on couchsurfing? "
:D
Interests
As I previously siad, I'a reader, a speaker but, most of all, I'm a "mover": I enjoy dancing and getting active, playing capoeira and learn new skills from who feels like offering to me such opportunities. I'm iintereted in antropology and sociology also -apart from philosophy, I mean!- and I'm currently writing an essay about fear and insecurity as sociality-destroying factors in contemporary western civilization, aiming to find their boundaries with our economy "politics".
I'd love to go to south america and spend at least a year there as a volounteer social worker in risk situations as favelas, for istance, aiming to connect with the other side of social problems, those that arise from poverty instead of richness and "wealth", as it seems to happen in western countries.
In general, I'm interested in learning and traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
....I've read way too much to just have one favourite book but, if I'd have to just pick one and take it on a desert island with me, I'd chose pennac's "story of a body": Just brilliant, seriously. About moovies: well I'm not a big cinema fan and have absolutely no clue of a culture in that field since, right or wrong that it might sound, for me moovies are, abouve all, a way to relax. Given this, my favourite moovie would be the "fellini satyricon"...one of those moovies that you can whatch with the audio off and..it still keeps your attention at the highest level possible. I'm a scrubs addicted, also :) yes, I know it's been quite a long time since the tv serie came out but... what can I do, guys? I just like to still whatch it over and over again :) :) :)
Last but not least: Music? Well, I'm a dancer, You know, just saying that...I (almost) love it all, from jam sessions in the park with only a guitar and an empty beer bottle from lhasa de sela, passing from south american sonorities, italian independent singers, good ole rock and roll, blues (especially billie holiday!) and so on so wide ;) The poit is: Doest it "vibe" good? then I like it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
a heck of a difficult question, hu? ! :D
Teach, Learn, Share
nothing specific, except contact improvisation and some capoeira moves ;)ok, maybe I could do a talk or two about some philosopher but... I have nothing to teach in the proper senso, actually :)
I'd leanr whatever, thogh! :)
I'll share my smile, experience, thoughts, questions, food and nights out with my hosts!what about it? :) :)
