I do believe this is a more natural and win-win activity than a guest house or an hotel. It allows people to meet each other without any money underlying needs.
I am convinced that friendship could sprout out from welcoming strangers. This is my main motivation !

Perhaps one day you ll be here at my weeding, while we just met up on a 2 day journey 3 years ago in a city you have welcomed me. This is the magic thing I appreciate about couchsurfing.

I am found of tennis (been a tennis teacher in the US for a month). If you support Djoko it will be a harsh night discussing about tactics and strategy since I am 100% behind Federer.
