I love to discover new aspects of reality - whether by talking to friends or strangers, strolling through the streets of an unknown city, or by losing myself in a book or movie. I'm trying to find a comfortable balance between my wide-eyed amazement and love for fairy tale narratives, and my inherently skeptical attitude - with more or less success.

I think getting to know people and places of different cultures enables us to not only widen our perspective but also to enrich our personality. It is my experience that being introduced to a city by a local leads to a much more exciting experience than taking the road more traveled by - and I am very happy to provide that experience for others too.

I am an enthusiastic, but not particularly experienced (aspiring) cook, so I like getting the chance to make a meal for more than two people and make an occasion out of it. I can also talk an irrational and unnecessary amount (about everything from natural curly haircare to psychology to young adult fantasy...:).
