I was born, bred and raised in Westmeath, a rural county in the midlands of Ireland. If would describe myself as fairly laid back and easy to get along with.

I studied Medicine in Dublin and during my 5 years in college I used my summers to travel to places like the USA, South East Asia, India, South Africa and I also spent 6 months studying in Bahrain.

I am currently on a 3 month trip through South America after which I am hoping to work in Australia or New Zealand for some time.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I was introduced to the concept by friends who had some amazing experiences couchsurfing all over the world. It is something I have since wanted to try but until now I hadn't fully considered it as an option. What appeals to me about CS is that it sounds like a great way to meet new people and travel. I would also, when I return home, like to be a host.

I love to travel, meet new people, try new things, have new experiences.

I enjoy going to festivals and have been to many music festivals in ireland and have also been to Sziget in Budapest and Tomorrowland in Belgium.

I like to attend sporting events. When at home I go to rugby games and also to hurling and Gaelic football ( irish sports) but when I am abroad i like to attend whatever sport is popular in that country.

I like to read and my main areas of interest would be current affairs(irish and international), sports, medicine and health.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like all sorts of music from rock to electro but my favourite would be irish music and my favourite musician would be Christy Moore.

It's hard to say what my favourite movie is but Ed Norton is my favourite actor.

I am currently reading crime and punishment by Dostoevsky and the last book I read was on the road by Kerouac which I really enjoyed. Other favourites would be Shantaram by Gregory d. Roberts
