Im a 21 year old girl from Denmark. For the last two years Ive been travelling and volunteering on different farms through HelpX, which is like Wwoof or workaway. I was ten months in Canada on four different farms, an animal rescue in Alberte, an organic farm in BC, a dog sledding kennel in the Yukon and a cattle ranch in Saskatchewan. After 6 months at home where I was working on a riding school for disabled people I went to Iceland for five months to work on a sheep and horse farm. This year Im starting vet school in Copenhagen. As you can tell I love animals and farm life! I also love travelling and meeting new people to talk to and learn about. Whether by hitchhiking og helping on farms. I haven't tried couch surfing before but I'm excited to give it a go and hopefully meet some awesome people!
When I travel I always bring my sketch book, my ukulele, a good book and my sleeping bag. I guess that says the most about me.

The best part for me about travelling is meeting new people and getting new experiences. Usually Ive stayed at hostels and so on but now id like to try something new and I believe couch surfing is a better way to really visit the country and the people of that country! I hope to pay the favour of anyone hosting back as soon as I get my own place in Copenhagen where Id love to host myself.

兴趣

I play a lot of music and when i travel i always bring my beloved ukulele along. I cant promise that Im any good but to me that is not the point of playing and what I love most about music is sharing it. Id love to share what I know and learn what others do. I also love reading and I read a lot of fantasy and travelling books. I also love to discuss books, movies, travelling, politics and life in general.

I love music such as AltJ, Gorillaz, Muse and much more. I love the movie Into the Wild, simply because it is so beautifully shot and my favourite book is Tracks by Robyn Davidson because she is a huge inspiration to me.

Ive done many things I think are amazing but I think the most amazing thing was the first time I assisted a sheep in giving birth to a lamb. Ive done it many times since then and its always amazing to see.

I don't consider myself a particularly good teacher although I usually am a good learner. However I do love to share my knowledge and thoughts and whatever else I have that could be of use to others.

Good company and conversation. Im a decent cook as well but most of all I love to play music with other people which is why I always bring my ukulele along. I also usually have chocolate which I will gladly share!
