My name is Olya Konyk . I'm Ukrainian. I grew up in a little Ukrainian town near Rivne - Dubno.
I'm a positive, kind, optimistic, communicative person. I love exploring new cultures and making new friends.
In the past year, I have fulfilled one of my childhood dreams of traveling to Latin America. I have lived in Costa Rica, Colombia, and Mexico, and I also traveled to Panama.
I love learning foreign languages, I have a degree in English and French philology. I always want to communicate with people in their language while traveling and learn essential vocabulary.

Another big dream of mine - is to travel to Africa. And I am going to do just that! :)

My passion is music and dancing. I am a DJ and a dancer, I also have my channel in Telegram with poetry I write and music that I love. Additionally, I like reading and watching movies, exercising, doing yoga, and jogging in the morning.
I work as a personal assistant remotely, thus, I can travel and work from many parts of the world.
The most important thing for me is self-development, exploring myself, people, and this world. My biggest wish is to travel around the world. This is what inspires me, showing new perspectives and colors to life.

I am a DJ, music is one of my biggest passions. I grew up dancing on the stage and for quite some time I was teaching a dance class. Music and dancing is something I cannot live without. I love movies, mostly from the 90s. I love watching anime as well. I got 7 tattoos and planning to have more as I love body art. Yoga is something I have been doing for almost 10 years now and it brings a lot of benefit and joy in my life. I also do martial arts, specifically karate. I try to eat healthy and establish a good relationship with my body. I am a vegetarian and I don't drink alcohol. I love sports and physical activities like surfing, hiking, jogging, and of course dancing :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gathered courage to start a new life and travel alone around South America.
I am really proud of that, sometimes it's hard and scary but when you see beautiful places and nature and have good people around - it is all worth it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a graduated English and French Teacher so I can teach English, I love working with children and tutoring is something I have been doing in the past. I can also teach how to dance and DJ. I could also instruct yoga sessions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When the war is over and you come to Ukraine and I am there - I could show you plenty of our Ukrainian customs, and culture and take you sightseeing. I can cook something from our cuisine. I'm more of a listener and I always strive to understand people and be a good support for them. I love hearing stories from life and getting a new look at our existence. Also, I don't mind helping with housework and in the kitchen. I like babysitting, so I could help with kids too.
