Hey, I am Elisabeth I am currently doing my masters degree in chemistry at the Ludwigs Maximilian University in Munich. When I am not working crazy hours at the lab I like to meet my friends or go out :)
I try to travel as much as possible when I can find the time.

I will be in Scotland from August till December 2015 doing a research internship at the chemistry department of the University of Glasgow. So I am really keen on seeing all of Scotland. Since I love hiking and biking I hope to get to do that a lot :)

Also I will be travelling for Munich to Glasgow via bike so if anyone has good advice on biking routs from Munich to Amsterdam or Newcastle to Glasgow I'm all ears :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went couchsurfing with friends on a trip threw Denmark Norway and Sweden and I really loved it. But I didn't have an account of my own at that time and at first I was really sceptical but my friend Fiona organized the whole trip from her account and it was the best trip ever. So I decided to make an account of my own.

Interests

I like hiking, biking and also Horse riding.
When there are medieval festivals I am usually the first one there I just love the music, the horses, the magicians and the general ambiance

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love the Harry Potter Books (I actually chose the University of Glasgow because it reminds me of Hogwarts). And of course I have also read Game of Thrones.

I listen to whatever music is playing there is really no genre I absolutely can't stand.

And I also like all kinds of movies except Horror and really brutal movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to the arctic circle and I have seen the northern lights.
I took my bike form Munich to Berlin :)
I went diving in Indonesia.
