Overview
About Me
My close friends call me either the Philosopher or the crazy Irishman.
Born in Geneva, Switzerland, from an Irish mother and an Italian father, I learnt to be fluent in both French and English and grew up thus in an incredibly open and international environment. I've had a love for cinema and literature ever since I was a youngling, my favorite film director being Christopher Nolan and my favorite author F. Scott Fitzgerald. In addition, I've developed you could say an addiction to travelling and meeting all sorts of fantastic new people, having spent every summer abroad on my own ever since I turned 15 years old. These locations included Oxford, New York, Florence, and Tokyo. Finding myself in the midst of a gap year, I've decided to travel around the world in search of similar but even more extraordinary experiences before I enter the dreadful world of higher learning once more (University.)
If I were to describe myself from an incredibly biased view, I would use words such as calm, patient, kind, curious, flexible, easy to live with, quirky, and overly sarcastic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to study in Florence, Italy for a month, without knowing a single word of Italian and staying in a Italian only speaking household. Definitely one of the most challenging and incredible experiences I've done in my life. Also had a similar experience last summer in Tokyo, Japan, where I stayed for five weeks whilst attending a Japanese language school. Thankfully this time I came to the country with a basic understanding of the local language, thus a less arduous experience :)
