About Me

Hello world,
I'm Sara. I was born in Spain, grew up in Italy and studied in the UK so I have spent a lot of my life traveling and working all around the world, in 2015 I met my partner while traveling in Australia and after 3 years of adventures together we had a baby girl, and a few years of sedentary life we are ready to start travelling again as a family.
Couch surfing with Our baby was great in the past, as we met such amazing families that inspired us to be the best parents we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know as much as possible about each place, the people, the culture. Couch surfing allows me to meet interesting people and thanks to it I have made amazing friends. Also we have used couchsurfing mostly as travelers but being able to host and give advice to travellers was so great for us.
We have always brought food for everybody and have always made sure to respect the house and the people that host us, but being mostly hosts now I feel a bit disappointed as so many couchsurfers don’t.
I have never wanted to do this, but after hosting few people I feel like I need to post some house rules here so hopefully everybody can read them:
1. We have a small kid so we do family life, we go to the bed early and wake up early, please don't arrive late and in the morning (if school day) be ready to leave early, usually around 8 ish.
2. we dont have a spare key and we dont feel comfrotable leaving surfers alone in the house, especially young travellers, mostly because it's an old flat and things break easily, like hot water, gas , and with young people we found that they don't know how to be carefull or even how to use things.
3. Food wise, we are happy to share our meals , but SHARE, not provide, so please bring some food at least for your own, and don't expect to just help yourself to our food , especially since groceries are very expensive now.
4. Also please be respectful in general, use the hot water with moderation , don’t make noise in the evening especially when we are putting our kid to sleep , etc
