About Me
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, I am currently unable to host. However, if you think we will get along and would like to host me, please send a message :-)
I am a naturally curious person which gives me a streak of rebellion. I don't believe in economically or socially constructed dissension. I believe in kindness. I believe we are all here by chance and what a gift it is to share our very unique take on life with one another. Last but not least, I am huge into animal welfare. I foster animals in need.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to discover a world outside of a cubicle. I want to meet people of all walks of life, giving and receiving the gift of perception along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an ear for all music. I don't discriminate, I appreciate. Same thing with stories, discoveries, and books. I am a bit picky with movies though. I love documentaries, sci-fi, foreign/local, and low budget indies in particular. Here are examples of recent ones I've enjoyed watching:
Documentaries - Citizenfour, Deep Web, Hunted:War/Gays
Sci-Fi - Interstellar, Snowpiercer, Pan's Labyrinth, Advantageous
Indie - The East, I Origins, The Sound of My Voice, Another Earth
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Does folding a fitted sheet semi-neat once count? I'm super proud of that.
Teach, Learn, Share
This is my favorite poem of all time.
Invictus
by William Ernest Henley
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Maybe a unique perspective; hopefully many laughs!
I would love to say cooking a nice meal but I'm a pretty terrible cook and am famously known for takeout or delivery among friends. I do love a home cooked meal though so I can take a challenge :-)!
Also - you will get yourself a host if you ever end up in Manhattan, NYC!
