About Me

I've recently moved to Wexford town with my girlfriend, Philippa, for work. I used to host in Kilkenny when I lived with my friend Dave, so that's where the reviews are from! I took a sabbatical from Couchsurfing - to do a little more travelling myself and to live in Dublin again for a bit (the house was tiny, no space for any guests unfortunately).

We've a nice place near the centre of Wexford town, and guests are very welcome. The only thing to warn you is that our work schedules are pretty erratic, so it may not always be possible to host, but if we're around to let you in you're welcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was travelling in Nicaragua in 2014, and my friend got us a place to stay via couchsurfing. A lovely American guy called Evan opened his house up to us in Ocotal, and it was one of the highlights of the trip. I'd like to pay that forward to some travelers in turn!

I'm rejoining now because I had great fun as a host in Kilkenny - I'm new to Wexford too, so it will be nice to compare notes on where to go!

Interests

I love everything to do with rugby - I'm a huge Leinster and Ireland fan. Although I can't think of very much better to do than hanging out with friends at home or in the local pubs with a few beers.
Outside of that, hiking in the Wicklow Mountains is one of my top ways to unwind. That's if I can tear myself away from the xbox of course...

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is pretty varied, there's very little I won't listen to. Favourite film is Blood Diamond, or anything with the Rock in it. I read anything I can get hands on. I've just finished a great book called The Narrow Road to the Deep North by Richard Flannigan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With two good friends, I cycled from Mexico to Nicaragua (or at least tried to!) in May and June 2014 - 3muppets6wheels.blogspot.ie
