Hello! I'm an artist who loves the outdoors! I make art out of plant materials. You can see my art here: www.hbeeart.com .I also work at a native plant nursery, and am passionate about saving and reviving native landscapes in my area. My husband and I love to go camping, backpacking, canoeing, and all sorts of outdoor activities. We have hiked the Appalachian trail together. We've been married for 7 years, but a couple for 18 years. I've been vegetarian for 12 years, and enjoy baking and cooking. I studied anthropology and art in college. I really like small dance parties. I'd like to do more international travel and experience the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people and see the world. I want to have a broader perspective on what it means to live on this earth. I am poor and can't afford hotels, but even if I could, I would prefer to travel this way because I feel I will get a better understanding of the places I go to. I want to connect with people and share an experience.
