I usually works with the paradox of the material and the immaterial, combining it with some of the major contradictions of the human condition. Presence or absence, the absurd and the sublime, light and darkness. My latest projects emerged from the trips to the former Iron Curtain and Soviet Union. The search of a representing past activity in the form of fragments and traces; which today suggests notions of nostalgia, utopia and even ruin? Using materials such as iron oxide makes the work itself a rusty object; relating the personal time with historical time. It provides a reflection on the complex psychological mechanisms used by man in pursuit of depersonalisation and domination.

I have no place at this time but hope to have it in the future because I have been so well treated around the world that I believe that is fair to give some hospitality in return.
