To me, respect and values come before anything. "Thank you" and "please" are the foundations of any relationship, in a manner of speaking. At least I believe in that. I'm very proud of who I've become, and I have to thank my family for that. They taught me how to think. That said, I think a lot. And I like it.
Despite having many friends - and I'm very grateful for that - I love to sit in a public bench all by myself and just sit there enjoying the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been working in advertising for the last 5 years and I've decided that it's time to do things by myself. I love my country, I mean if you already know it you know what I'm talking about, but it doesn't gather the charachterstics I need to achieve my life goals. I don't want to spend another five years with this feeling of struggling to be in the same place, without knowing my true potencial, entangled in this "little" country. It may be paradise, but it's not big enough to me.
After all these years working under a "leash" on my creativity, I've decided that if the right people in all the world can't find me, it's time for me to show myself to the world and find them, wherever they are! My dreams and life goals don't fit in this country. I have the ideas, I just have to meet more people, get me in the open where people can find me. People that share this drive to make a difference in the world.

Interests

All my life I've been interested in everything. Do you know those kids who get lost from their family on vacation because they got distracted with the most ridiculous thing? I'm still that kid. The only difference is nowadays when I get lost it's all good: I've got more time to do what I was doing, weather it was an art performer or someone talking funny. That's a perfect start to travel in my thoughts a little bit and realize things. Realizing things is very important to me because you feel like you're evolving. It's like learning, but no one can teach you, you have to get there all by yourself. Meeting new people and new cultures is the best way to do that, so I think my main interest is the word "new". New places, new friends, new food, new way of thinking!...
I guess you already can tell I'm an arts guy... any form of art, as long as it makes you feel something. Anything that has something to do with food I love too. Or science. Or gaming.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a little weird in terms of music. I don't know any names or groups (like all of my friends do) but what I do know is to recognize a good song when a hear it. I like to get lost in youtube and find good music, which is hard by the way. The music I can't get tired of are the classics like queen beatles bobmarley hendrix elvis johnnycash ledzeppelin davidbowie and all the others. Other than that, I love electronic music.
The Godfather is without a doubt my favourite movie, I've seen it like 20 times and the works I did over it got me many praises in college. I also like many many others, but this text box won't be enough.

I still haven't done it. But I certainly will, and I won't settle for something amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

This title is the main reason why I'm using couchsurf. I feel like I'm exploding with new ideas and things to discuss and Lisbon or Portugal won't do it anymore. Imagine the people of a country is like the juice of a fruit. I've already drank it all. I know all of them, the way they think and the way they are. I can't go out without recognizing someone and I'm so tired of that. I need a new fruit, more juice to drink!
And of course, it will be my pleasure to share all these 26 years of Portuguese juice.

What I Can Share with Hosts

One of the things I'm very proud of is being a good person reader. That allows me to shape myself when I'm around that person. Also allows me to make the person laugh, and I think it's something worth sharing: a good laugh.
I also can share all of my life and what comes with it: my friends, my house, my life experience. Who knows a business? :)
I believe in giving, maybe it's because I have two brothers and a family who always taught my that way.
