About Me

Hey, I'm Mickaël from Germany. Native from the French Alps, I decided to move to Northern Europe for my language studies. I'm 22 and at present I'm doing my Erasmus in Naples, Italy.

I'd say I am curious and open to everything, I early started to get interested in languages and other cultures, also through my life journey I became a French and German teacher, Italian is added on the list. I am a bit shy outside, nevertheless inside I mean good to other people and you could define me as carefree. I'm getting more and more into philosophy, politics and (modern and contemporary) arts.

My next destination will be Istanbul and later I wish to discover Iran and take the Transsiberian.

My interests are playing the clarinet, climbing, cooking, travelling and broading my film culture..

I unfortunately can't host anyone for this year. Next year!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is rewarding to stay in a place, host and have the opportunity to exchange with locals, share a bit of the life and go off the beaten track .
Moreover I plan to work with interculturality/politic relations, for this reason teaching and getting from people, places, history for pleasure and interest is essential. In addition, I believe that access to culture should be free so if we can help each other reducing our costs for our good, CS is beneficial.
