我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To immerse myself in the local culture, beliefs, and language. What better way to learn about the country than to live with their people, under the same roof?

I have met really kind and generous people throughout my travels with Couchsurfing. So hosting is one of my ways to return the favor to the community.

I am up for conversations, and activities together. Please read MY HOME section before sending in your requests. I like it when surfers are sociable, have something to share, and respect my home. When I'm surfing, I like getting to know my hosts, sharing myself, and learning what it's like to be a part of their home.

As someone who has used this site for 2+ years, I urge surfers to take the time to use this service responsibly. If you check the profiles and references of potential hosts — and send them a thoughtful request — you'll set yourself up to have more positive experiences with strangers. Don't treat CS like a hostel experience. This is personal. This is real life folks! Where danger and delight can exist around every corner ;-)
