I'm an engineering student who likes technology and specially the way it helps us live better. I've been a scout since I was little, and I'm currently involved in many educational programs to improve kids education apart from their formal education in school.

I like traveling, knowing new cultures, meeting new people and discovering remote places in the world. I like the mountain, the coast but for some reason I especially like the sea. With nothing else around than a sailing boat, water and if possible some dolphins!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Once, I was told the difference between traveling and "displacing yourself".

There are very different ways one can visit other countries. Staying in great hotels, keeping the same habits and culture as in the their country, going to the supermarket or a restaurant and trying to get the same products they would get at home, etc.

And then you can visit another country trying to adapt to their culture. Leaving for some days the country you are from apart and letting yourself be touched by the people and the country you are in.

I believe traveling is the second thing, and I can't think of a better way to do this than staying with locals. I'm new at Couchsurfing but from what I've read almost everything are good experiences, and definitely probably the best way to truly travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have taken photos at 35.000 m (~115.000 ft) high!! With a GoPro on a hellium balloon at NESLAB Project, a great team of people from my university (UPC).
