Overview
About Me
I will be absent for the next few days as I'm going to a meditation retreat. From 22/05 until 02/06 I will be cloistered in this Buddhist temple without access to the outside world (without cell phone / internet), fasting and in a vow of silence. I will answer all the messages and requests afterwards. Thank you.
About me:
Heyy! I'm André a Brazilian guy, I was born in the southwest of Brazil and lived in São Carlos until 2012. Then, I moved to Bauru, where I studied and finally graduated in Civil engineering.
In 2015 I had one of the most incredible experiences of my life, to study for one year in Groningen, NL, in an exchange year. There I got in touch with a new culture and many new people that I’m happy to carry as friends for life.
It was there where I’ve developed my passion for traveling and exploring new places. I’ve become addicted to meeting people from other countries, get to know better their culture, traditions, music and culinary.
After this year abroad I had to came back to Brazil and got a job in a big construction site. Although it was a nice job, I couldn’t bear to stay attached to the same place for so much time, that’s why after two long years I decided to quit it and begin a new adventure.
So here I am, just a curious guy, seeking for new places, people, and cultures. Always open to try different things and have new experiences. I don't need comfortable places to sleep, usually I just need a place. I like to have good conversations that inspires me and make me question and confront things that will make me a better person. I just need a place with good energy, good people and much love. And my heart and my house are opened to receive everyone that wants a place to stay.
Hope we could meet soon!

When I was planning to move to Netherlands, a friend told me about her experience with the Couthsurfing and I thought "Why not?". Well, I like to meet different kind of people and this is a great opportunity to create a friendly network without borders.
Interests
Well, apart from the passion for travelling and exploring the world, I’m a just a simple guy. I’m really into the nature itself, so outdoor activities like trekking, climbing, camping or just absorbing the sky makes me fell fulfilled.
I'm also into reading since a kid, I fell a book is like a trip and lets you ~travel~ in a different place and time. That’s why I’m always carrying at least one with me.
I’m addicted to the music, from jazz to electronic, and love to find new songs and styles, so I’m super opened to new "music experiences".
I’m also really passionate about cooking, and would be delighted to learn new recipes and experience new tastes/ingredients. Of course, I would share my expertise with you too.
I enjoy conversations about architecture, art, urbanism, cinema, technology, parties, beer, good jokes, laugh.... and nice discussions about life.
