Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing shows how the world could be: Thrustful, solidary, without borders or artificial barriers. Each person is a little window to the world, so lets open it!
I belive that the best way to know the world, is to know the people who lives in it. So I'm ready to share my culture, and learn a different one :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music: Jazz, reggae, funk and new age. Everything that has harmony in general, and if the skin bristles much better!

Favorite movie: Enter the Void directed by Gaspar Noe.
Staged in the nightclubs of Tokyo, the story follows a young drug dealer who is shot by the police, but continues seeing the life from his soul. Almost the entire film is shown with a zenith plane (from above). An out-of-body experience! I have the movie on my laptop, I can pass it to you if you want ;)

Books: En cambio - Estanislao Bachrach

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Work in a documentary about the relationship between Dominicans and Haitians. I had the opportunity to travel with two french guys, and living with children of a Haitian orphanage, communicating with gestures and signs. I witnessed 15 children seeing the sea for the first time.

I have a photo album of all this incredible experience. You can see it on my Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/federicopagolaalgorta/media_set?set=a.10211986482043761.1073741853.1424271143&type=3

Teach, Learn, Share

The world needs new points of view:
Teaching is the best way to learn
You start dying when you stop learning
From the beginning of life a cell was divided into two, so I believe sharing is something necessary and natural.

"Happiness is only real when it is shared". Alexander Supertramp, in the movie Into the wild

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to cook badly, dance badly and how to play drums with complete lack of rhythm. But those are boring stuff :) I can share with you some "mate". It's a typical drink from my culture, similar to tea.
If I stay at your place, you will have lots of smiles, and a present for sure, in the present moment haha
