About Me

Hi, I'm Jędrzej,
My friends call me JJ. I'm not taking life to seriously anymore. I realised that I'm not going to achieve all the things that I want, so I'm just keeping it chill and trying to enjoy everyday.
I have no idea why I always get rejections on couchsurfing. Please don't be sceptical because of my lack of references. I've been surfing couches of people as well as hosting others without using this platform. Though I need to have some references at some point. Everybody had the first time, right? I'm a good guy ;)
I graduated from university of technology and I'm currently not working anywhere. I was living in Warsaw for most of my life except 2 erasmus exchanges in Zagreb and Coimbra (1,5 year in total) and travels. I'm quite a slow person. I like to say that whatever I didn't manaege to do was a price of my chill before. I have a bit more complex life philosophy, but that's just how I deal with disappointments :).
So being slow is both my positive trait that let me enjoy life more but also my biggest flaw, because I sometimes don't manage to enjoy it long enough or I'm late. I hope I'll be late for my funeral as well.
I've been working in a few places already and did quite a few travels by car, bike, raft, walking, sailing or hitchhiking. Sometimes in the cities but mostly in the wilderness, always with backpack and tent.
I like meeting with friends, playing guitar, beers, houseparties, drinking coffees, climbing, watching movies, reading books, learning from others, debating and getting new skills.
I'm quite a sociable person, but I also need my time alone. I'm also adaptable - hitchhiking taught me when people want to socialise with me and when they don't, so I'm trying not to be annoying for strangers and I think I'm not.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's nice to be in the community which connect people who actually want to talk, share and help. I was already hosting travellers and was being hosted by others, but never through coutchsurfing yet, so I guess that's the right place to make that kind of meetings easier. Hope my lack of references won't stop anyone from sharing a piece of floor for me :)
