About Me

I'm a photographer from Argentina, right now travelling around Europe with a friend. Our goal is to get to Iceland. We try to escape from what tourists usually do and get to know the culture of every country we visit, blend with the locals and, if possible, try to learn their language. We care about what's really going in each place, and how people feel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've started couchsurfing not long ago after staying for more than a month in hostels, the experience was completely different and aligned to what I was looking for, not so much of a "vacation experience" but a glimpse of how life really is in other places, thanks to couchsurfing I've met some extraordinary people and places that I'd have never seen if it wasn't for them.

Interests

Everything that has to do with art.
I just wouldn't be able to live without music (who could?) music is my safe place.
Travelling and experiencing cultural exchanges, that's why we're all here, right?
Cars and football (also known as soccer), after all I'm from Argentina

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: everything. Right now? alt-j, Gustavo Cerati, fever ray, Ludovico einaudi, Pink Floyd...
Movies: blockbuster and independent, depends on my mood
Books: from lord of rings to many lives many masters. Right now a selection of poems by bukowski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drive non stop for 12 hours on my way to Patagonia also stay alone in the middle of a mountain, with just my camera and a tripod to shot the milky way.
Walk in a deserted beach in Mexico and find huge turtles nesting.
In Bretagne, the night before leaving, an unbelievable bright and detailed milky way full of shooting stars.
After a really long and rainy day in Iceland, stopped at a mountain top above the ocean to camp, around midnight green rivers of light started flowing in the sky. My first Aurora Borealis, I'm still thrilled by this beautiful experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Be part of a photography project called "route chronicles" (about the people i meet during my travels)
Cook, I'm not a great cook but I know my way around a few dishes that taste really good
Music if there's a piano or a guitar :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Uruguay
