Overview
About Me
29 year old engineer spending time when I'm not working to travel and learn the things that schooling doesn't provide.
Born in Nigeria, bred in Leeds, lived in the Middle East and now back in London.
I like to think I don't take life too seriously, and am always ready for a new adventure. I've learned that the best times always occur with minimal planning so currently trying to live out that philosophy and see where it takes me.
Looking forward to new experiences and most of all new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've learned that visiting places with the people who live there is the best way to learn about culture and stumble upon truly amazing experiences.
Don't always have the longest amount of time, so looking to pack the most possible into the days I'm around. It's always a better trip when you're with someone who knows the lay of the land.
Interests
Avid rugby player and enthusiast; practise Muay Thai. Sports in general are something I love. Playing more than watching.
I love my music and whilst I have been unfortunate to let my playing abilities fade, my appreciation has only grown greater. Jazz, rap, house, techno, indie. I like an eclectic mix. I can listen to Armand Van Buuren to Miles Davis in an instant. I like to define my music taste as anything I find good.
Very amateur photography. I have a camera with all the pictures I've taken in the past 3 years.
I like to try my hand at everything so I'm always open to ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Never Back Down - It's a terrible movie but unbelievably enjoyable.
Books: Ender's Game, Great Gatsby. Most things by Isaac Asimov. Things Fall apart. I tend to read thrillers, crime novels, science fiction and am trying to get into English and African classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving into the Sierras de Cordoba and then hiking an hour off the beaten path to find a beautiful waterfall. Perfect for a little bit of climbing and swimming in the pool.
Teach, Learn, Share
Turpe Nescire - It's a disgrace to be ignorant.
Interested in learning about pretty anything. I'll happily talk about anything.
Recently had a conversation with an History major and German guy about World War 2, which branched out to Stalin, pol pot, the 100 years war and then speculating the cause of the troubles in the Middle East. Had some great perspectives on things!
What I Can Share with Hosts
An actual understanding of rugby. How to make good tea. Lifting heavy items up stairs. Jollof rice.
