I'm a 20 year old girl just starting my second gap year, after finishing danish high school in the summer of 2014, majoring in english and social studies. I've traveled in England for a few months and worked at a nursing home for dementia patients, and now I'm attempting to hitchhike from Amsterdam to Morocco with my good friend Trine. Trine went to the same school as me, and has worked at a local after-school club for the last year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're couchsurfing for the same reasons we're hitchhiking: to meet new and interesting people we otherwise would've never known, but also to save a bit of money, and that way travel further than we otherwise would be able to, with our small amount of money.

Interests

My interests are pretty steriotypical for a couchsurfer I believe. I like traveling, meeting other travelers or locals, and I'm always up for a chat with a stranger. Having lived my intire life on the countryside, I'm also very fond of being in nature, camping and learning about edible & medical herbs. Besides that, I enjoy going to concerts, dancing, going out for a drink and other such 20something activities.
