About Me

(2014)Hi ım Yigit from Istanbul Turkey. I love travelling. Maybe thats one of the reasons why I am a pilot. You won't be bored if I am around, most of the people I met think that I am silly and sassy lol. You can check my interests(2021)
I am now a minimalist pilot. I am dreaming of quitting, backpacking and never come back.
My place has 1 coach, for now it is occupied but i can gladly prepare a floor bed which is more comfortable than the coach. So you will be floorbedsurfing. Usually im up to meet ups(currently i have a longterm guess already so you two must decide where to sleep hehe)

I am not verifying because it asks too much on my currency since the country is on the threshold of economic collapse.

On my short trips Im looking for people who can guide me. Long trips I am looking for stable place, perhaps help, volunteer or work with people. I like to learn the culture and language. Thanks.

I believe in sacredness of communities and people bonding under a purpose, dream or friendship.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

(2015)Well, as all the traveler students know, for travelling you need some money to travel. Accommodation is the most expensive part. also spending time with the people that you dont know or event just meeting might be cool or incredibly funny.

2018-no longer a student(ended 3 years ago:) But now i dont have time to travel :( only for a week or so. But someday i hope i can leave it and be a nomad. Thats my dream.
2024-I am done with the job, traveling now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Haha in 2015 in Mexico Cozumel, in the middle of the street at daytime, this guy approaches me and asks "hola senior do you need anything? I have cocaine, cigarettes, senioritas. Do you need senioritas?" I was surprised.

And this one is the best. I found a host in Chicago back when i was 20 years old student, the dude was Korean American, we agreed about hosting before. then the same day before i go he texted me and asked if i am okay with him being gay. I was surprised and i said its fine because i dont care. But then he asked me if its fine if we watch porn together. I said “i dont want to do anything like that, i will be just there for fun and travelling. I am not into any sexual stuff.” So he said it is fine, i came and stayed there 4 or 5 days. We had to wake up around 7 because of his work and go out early, it was fine for me, but also i had to wait most of the days until at least 10 11 pm to come back. It was so tiring. It is still fine because i am there to travel and i am glad he is hosting me. We had some opportunities to talk a couple of minutes sometimes but it was cold between us(i think it is because i rejected him) and there were 2 german guys started staying as well but they were noisy in the bedroom
basically all I did was having shower and going to bed in that house. We could not share anything. He was always with slip full of heart shape underwears at home, it was so disturbing. And he gave me low review lol. I dont think it is couch-sex exchange program. I mean i am fine with sex if i feel it but just asking watching porn just before my arrival was shocking, for 20 year old guy. After that experience I never tried to find a host again for long time.
