Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just think it's an awesome way to meet open minded, free spirited traveling souls. I love the people I have met while traveling so I want to continue to integrate that lifestyle into my life as much as possible. People who travel understand each other in a way that non travellers don't. It's like an unspoken language.

Music, Movies, and Books

Comedy is my favourite movie genre and I enjoy action as well. My fave actors growing up were Jim Carey and Adam Sandler. My all time favourite movie to quote is still Austin Powers. Classic!

My taste in music is hugely varied. I don't like to listen to the same songs often. I like house, reggae, country, classic rock and hip hop. I LOVE chilling and listening to people play guitar. I want to learn to play before my hair turns grey!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2017, I hiked Mount Agung, Bali only 3 months before it became a very dangerous active volcano. It was the most physically challenging thing I have ever done. 14 hours nonstop with no prior training.

Teach, Learn, Share

I lived in Indonesia for 17 months in 2017/18. I love sharing travel experiences and would love to give you tips if you ever want to go to Indo. As a host, I'm happy to show you around my city and as a surfer, I'd appreciate any tips you have.

I have only hosted once when I lived in Indonesia. I have only surfed once and that was in the Philippines in Feb 2016. I look forward to making more couch surfing memories soon !
