Who am I?

Hi, my name is Léon :) I'm from Germany and just turned 18 in June. I have recently finished my final secondary-school examination successfully. I love singing, acting, doing sports, especially volleyball, and of course travelling. Furthermore I have done a lot of voluntary work in the community. For example I was a tutor for younger pupils in school, I did a social internship as caretaker in a hospital and I am a telephone consultant for the German“child protection association“. I would define myself as very curious, open-minded and carry with me a diverse range of experiences. I always try to take a balanced stance and be reliable,and I generally approach situations with a positive attitude, humour and honest nature. It will definitely be easy-going with me. Ever since I joined an international scout group as a child, I have loved being close nature.Basically I'm like a chameleon: I hardly ever have any problems with person or situation because I just adapt to them.

What do I expect?

My main aim consists of experiencing the real New Zealand with all its facets.I'm not only here to see some attractions, but also to get to know the pure countryside, culture, people. I am looking forward to further improving my English and widening my perspective, as well as seeking to become more myself.
