About Me
Currently a masters student in Development Studies at SOAS University in London, love running, exploring new neighborhoods, and eating at food markets
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Completely new to this! Iv'e "couchsurfed" before by staying with friends of friends, but decided to finally get on here and make it more official!
And also, because the best part of traveling somewhere is meeting new people! Right?
Interests
Traveling as the cliche number one! But also, learning languages and more, music, reading, drinking tea, wine and beer, trying new food, cooking, running, biking, and exploring as much as I possibly can!

Music, Movies, and Books
Wes Anderson seems to never disappoint me with movies, and neither does Disney or Pixar. Always appreciate foreign films that don't necessarily fit into any category, as well as a classic like Forrest Gump. I know it's not a movie, but House of Card is currently my 'go-to' show.
Books? Considering my life is completely focused on my masters right now, my 'go-to' reads will be anything from Naomi Kleins "The Shock Doctrine" to William Easterly's "The Tyranny of Experts".
As for music I find it harder to find something I don't enjoy listening to... Philter is currently playing in my headphones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What is considered amazing...?
I almost won a watermelon eating contest and I've held a baby alligator and managed to get 39 mosquito bites while walking through the rain-forest in Colombia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am constantly distracted by new, exciting, and different things, so any story or knowledge you have to offer, I would love to learn... especially about new places and people!
I can teach an exercise class! I worked as a personal trainer and group-exercise instructor during my undergrad years in Florida. Yoga, spin, bootcamp... you name it!
Sharing a nice home cooked meal with old and new friends is always great! Knitting is a secret passion of mine so I'll always enjoy sharing that too...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll share anything! Knowledge about my home country of Sweden, what life is like at an all-American university, exercising, cooking and whatever else I can offer.
