About Me

I'm a 25 year old medical student from a village near Pancevo, Serbia.
I grew up as a sports type person, so I naturally love to be on the move.
I was a volleyball player for 10 years before starting medschool in Belgrade.
Right now I'm studying hard to become a doctor and hopefully do something which will change the world to be a better place! :)
I also have been playing drums for the past couple of years and I am a member of a gigging band, so I enjoy listening and creating music.
I love helping people, so I try to volunteer for the Red Cross and similar organisations.
I also love travelling, and I believe that kind of experience is irreplacable.
That's about it, if you're interested about anything else, feel free to go ahead and ask me. Cheers! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, I love travelling and meeting new people. I believe the experiences you get by travelling are priceless and they make you a better man.
I also love meeting people from all over the world and learning about different cultures, and in my opinion there is no better way of doing it then by meeting various people and getting to know their stories.
I love the idea of a site where people can arrange meetings and accommodation, because it is innovative and a lot more accessible and affordable for people who can't pay for expensive hotels and other kinds of paid accommodation, and you can never get a genuine view of a city if you don't see it through the eyes of one of its people.

Interests

My interests are medicine, sports (like volleyball, basketball, tennis, football and many more), music in general and drums, travelling, history, cooking, reading, bike riding, computer games and technology, and a lot more.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is hard rock (favorite band AC/DC), but I really enjoy a lot of different music genres and styles (ranging from classical, jazz, dance and house music, etc. to heavy metal).
I like stimulative movies, the ones that make you think and the ones which stick in your head for a while (Interstellar rings a bell). My favorite is still probably The Green Mile.
When it comes to books, I prefer fiction and historical novels, so stuff like A Song of Ice and Fire is my type of thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After a night of drinking and playing a couple of songs in a club in Belgrade, my friend and I hiked 20+ kilometers to Pancevo. It was a hard but fulfilling experience, and seemingly crazy, it was quite an incredible feeling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you accept me, I would really like to meet you as a person and your city, country and culture.
I would try not to get in your way around the house, but help with everything I can.
I hope we can have a great cooperation, cheers! :)
