Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, actually I'm on Couchsurfing because I talked to some friends that told me that they had some pretty good experiences with it, met interesting and kind people and so I got kinda curious and thought hey, just try it. I think getting the chance to stay with locals gives you a good opportunity to get to know the places you're visiting from a very different kind of view...during school I participated in two student exchanges where I lived with local families and I'd still say those were the best abroad expieriences I've had in my life.

Interests

I like to travel as you might already have suspected. This goes pretty well with my love of nature. I love the mountains, I love the forest, I love the sea. Except for I'm quite scared of deep water...a fear that I'd like to learn to overcome soon, for I'd love to try watersports someday. I like to go for a jog, hiking, cycling, go for a walk with my dog or just hang out at the river with a good book or some good friends. Other than outside activities I like to sing, both under the shower and in the choir. I love cooking with my friends and I'm always up for a good movie, wether at home or at the cinema. In winter I occassionally go snowboarding and recently tried some snowshoeing which I enjoyed very much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I saved a baby shark from chocking (do you say that for fish ?) by kicking it back into the water!
