About Me

VERY IMPORTANT to read: I don't accept any disrespect towards my person. I am not interested in sex, dating or similar. I use CS for meeting locals and I will not doubt in reporting anything which is wrong to the CS community or the authorities.

Thank you for your time and interest in hosting, being hosted or meeting me.

Here's something about myself...

At 38, I’ve decided it’s time to step out of my comfort zone and embark on an adventure to discover the world. I’m a solo female traveler, and I’ve chosen this path because it allows me to connect more deeply with locals and experience cultures in a meaningful way. I believe that travel is about more than just seeing new places—it’s about learning, growing, and building connections that enrich our lives.

I’m new to Couchsurfing, but I’m excited to join this community and embrace its spirit of generosity, curiosity, and shared experiences. I’m here to meet kind, open-minded people, share stories, and learn from one another. I value respect, kindness, and authenticity above all else.

I may not have many Couchsurfing references yet, but I’m committed to giving back. Whether it’s cooking a meal, sharing experiences, or creating meaningful interactions, I want to contribute in whatever way I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, travel is not about ticking off countries or collecting stamps in a passport. It’s about the lessons I learn, the connections I make, and the ways I grow as a person. I’m here to embrace the unexpected, challenge my assumptions, and discover the beauty of the world—and the people in it.

Interests

I like so different things. Dancing, yoga, creative activities like embroidery or crochet, reading, deep conversations, taking pictures, trying new foods... And, of course, travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books

The kind of music I prefer depends on the day, sometimes it's Nina Simone, sometimes Estopa, other days it's Beyoncé, and most music that I can dance to is good for me.

I don't really have a favourite film, I just don't like horror films or anything that has quite a bit of suspense. Mary Poppins was my favourite film as a child.

I like so many books, and so many have shaped who I am, but I have no favourites. I've recently really enjoyed reading " The Bandit Queens" by Parini Shroff and "Stolen Focus" by Johann Hari.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba and snorkelling! It is such a magical experience to witness life under water, I cannot wait to do it again!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some English, and a few useful Spanish expressions. I can make a decent Spanish omelette, too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

While I’m new to Couchsurfing, in real life I’ve gathered a wealth of experiences, stories, and perspectives that I’m eager to share. I’m also a great listener, curious and keen to learn, and someone who values meaningful interactions. I’m also independent, low-maintenance, and respectful of your home and time.
