About Me
Traveling in the next months...
I'm Brazilian and I've lived almost all my life in small cities. I have the Master's Degree in International Relations at Federal University of Santa Catarina. I'm a PhD candidate in Political Science at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. I enjoy learning new languages and new people. I love others cultures and all related to Africa! Now I'm living in Coimbra, Portugal for six months PhD research mobility.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I traveled to Switzerland and to Africa (Ethiopia, Uganda and Burundi) to do a field research. More than it, I really wanted to know another culture and meet nice people. And it happened! Now I'm trying to help people interested in Brazil and in our culture. Besides that, I usually travel to congress and other academic events. The last one was in Australia.
It's an amazing experience to have the houses door's open to different people and their ways of life, habits and cultures. I really enjoy the idea of Couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've traveled for almost two months alone to do a field research for my Master's degree. I went to Switzerland, Ethiopia, Uganda and Burundi. I needed to leave Burundi because of the imminence of a civil war after have bad experiences there. But I had a good time in that country too, my host was amazing.
I'm doing an amazing thing: I'm 25 and in the sencond year of PhD.
