My name is Trinh, I'm 22 years old and I come from Vietnam. One month ago, I was still a junior at University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. However, after spending time at university, I'm fed up with going to school. I feel that I am a lost ball in the high weeds, and can not identify what my passion is. Therefore, I decide to take a year off to do what I want and discover new lands before coming back to university.
There are 3 words I use to describe myself: Honest, forgetful and enthusiastic. And there are 3 words that my friends (even my mother) use to describe me: Crazy, crazy and crazy. Because my thinking is different from other people and quite bold. When you do something which isn't alike to most of people, they will consider you as a crazy person. However, I think this is my own character. Therefore, I really respect the differences and hope that everyone can live as who you are.
I love travelling. In Vietnam, I have discovered most of new lands in here. After any journey, I realize myself become younger, fresher, easily to sympathize and want to give away more. I love everything around me. When becoming old, I still want to go to new places, and learn new things. Just because I think age is not a problem, as long as you learn, you are still young.
I always remind myself "Follow my heart". I really like Dory in "Finding Dory". I'm so forgetful and the best way for me to decide what I should do is be brave and listen to my heart.

I think if you want to know about any countries, you have to meet people there. And the best way is to live with native people. To me, living, chating with new friends on the journey is the most wonderful thing. I really want my life will be filled by good people and meaningful meet☘☘

+ I love reading and writing. I can spend hours writing. I intend to write a book about my experience after this trip. It will be really interesthing if my book has your name.
+ I love sharing my experience and inspire other people. TED is my favourite channel, and I dream of having a chance to stand on that stage sharing my own story.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When you share with me your house, I want to be consider as your close friend, not a guest. I especially like cooking and really want to introduce Vietnamese food to you. Our food is absoulutely delicous. Do you want to try? 😊
