About Me

Well... there's no much to say about me, but the most important information I can give you is that I trust on cooperation and solidarity. I'd like to meet people interested in those values.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I really love travelling and meeting different people, learning about other cultures, trying food, seeing landscapes, etc.
I'm pretty sure that we can help each other to realize our dreams.

Interests

First of all, I want to contribute to change the world in order to build a better economical and social system, where people can find justice, freedom and cooperation, a life where the humans can mantain a deep relationship with the nature and the most valuable element be the life itself not the money nor the material possesions. That's why I studied political science and I resarch social troubles.
As part of those objectives, I'm working to get food self sufficiency through urban farming, I really love farming, specially when the seed explodes and the plant starts to grown, it is wonderfull, you know, the life begins.
Now, I want to talk you about my ludic activities: I love reading and watching movies, . Also, I look for to get time to do outdoor activities because nature is really beatiful for me, I like to climb mountains, walking on the grass, swimming in the rivers, etc.
Another activity that I enjoy so much is dancing, specially salsa dancing because you can feel the rythim in your body and your heart... it's great!
Obviously, I love travelling, I know many places in my country and in other two countries (Ecuador y Colombia).
Finally, I am interested in meditation because I am sure that you can control your mind and your emotions with this practic, meditation helps you to live each moment in your life in a comprehensive way as you connect with your inner being. In short, meditation is useful to improve yourself, to conquer yourself.
In general, I love laughing and enjoy the life, so I invite you to enjoy the life too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Regarding the music, I like to listen many kinds of musical expressions from popular music until classical music, specially I enjoy salsa, cumbia, bachata, hip-hop, rock, new age, african and asian music, classical music, andes music and a kind of mexican music called "sones veracruzanos". Actually I am universal in the musical matter.
I don`t like the commercial movies but sometimes I watch them in order to break the routine, my favourite films ever are Lucy, the Book of the Jungle, Amores Perros, Babel, Zeitgeits: moving forward, El laberinto del fauno, almost all of films of Hayao Miyazaky such as Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle, Mononoke Princess, Spirited Away, and many others.
My favourite books are Cien años de soledad, El amor en los tiempos del cólera, El quijote de la mancha, Das Kapital, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Soul of Man under Socialism, Huehuetlahtolli, La visión de los vencidos, Bhagavad gita, etc.
