I'm an Architecture student (in Brazil) and I was just tired of the routine and unsure about my degree. I started working at a nursery and discovered that I love kids(most part of the times). I figured out it was a good moment to take a break, start living by myself and just go, to try to see what I really wanna do with my life.
Then I decided to be an Au pair and live in the United States. I've been here since Oct 16 and I'm trying to spend all my time doing new things, since I’m going back home in May 18.

I love traveling, specially hiking and camping and I also love meeting new people and sharing moments/experiences!
I always have a hard time when it comes to describing myself... I think I can say that I love the simple things in life: my family, friends and the adventures I have. I really do love to talk about all the things I’ve done, I usually get super excited and cannot stop talking!! Haha I’m truly passionate about every experience I had!
I’m laid back, easy going and calm.. but at the same I like to take risks and do what everyone will say that is “too dangerous”. THAT will make my heart beat faster and I’ll get super excited for the upcoming adventure :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couhsurfing because I feel that my life has always been similar to this. I grew up moving a lot and having to meet new people and make new friends all the time. I learned how to keep all of them, that each one of them are part of my journey and the person I became!
I know I can meet so many awesome and inspiring people here, that it even makes me anxious to travel more and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Work experience at Snowshoe, WV for 4 months (Ski resort) where I had the chance to start Snowboarding
-Work exchange and camping at Amazon forest, Brazil
-Outer banks, NC (which doesn’t sound like a big deal but it was a really special trip!)
- I've been trying to hike some sections of the Appalachian trail, really wanna do Thru hike someday!
- Swam with a pink dolphin (yes they exist!!) It’s called Boto cor de rosa or “amazon pink dolphin”
