About Me
Hey there! I'm a funny and adventurous german woman that loves to see the world, getting to know new friends, cultures and to escape out of the normal daily routine. Currently I'm working as a research associate in Potsdam (Sportsscience and Psychology)
I'm really interested in activities in natural surroundings, especially on the sea and enjoy sharing this experiences with other curious people. But I also like to drink some beer/wine/coffee in bars, hanging around, enjoying barbecues and have some good talks and laughs. I'm open-minded, communicative and hope to find some great hosts all over the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet people, get new friends, see other cultures and just to be honest: travelling as cheap as possible - to see as much as possible. Moreover it is a great opportunity to improve my language skills since the last courses have been a long time ago, during school. As well, I would appreciate it to find some cool and easygoing travelmates because I'm not really used to travelling alone and with more persons it's always more fun!
Interests
all types of sports; meeting new people, I would love to participate in a kitesurfing or diving course this summer, so if someone wants to join ;)... go hiking or have some great mountainbike tours, these are only a few of my next intentions during travelling.
Music, Movies, and Books
rock, indie, alternative and singer songwriter things; but most of the time all genres, except rap. My favourites are Biffy Clyro, Volbeat, Pendulum, Killers, Kooks, Donots
Books: Dan Brown, Stephen King, Harry Potter ...
action or thriller movies; anything starring Robert Downey Jr., Russell Crowe or Sean Penn; Tv Shows a la Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, etc ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing the summit of the Tongariro Crossing (but I am still unable to pronounce the name of it)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you some German skills, cause nothing is more effective than learning from a native speaker;
Learn: I want to learn and improve all kinds of watersports / instrumental skills (guitar, piano, drums...) and of course languages!;
Share: sharing is caring, whatever is needed to make host's or couchsurfer's life better, I can try to share it! Just ask friendly ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
cheerfulness, good conversations, I love music and watching series and films, maybe we can find some similar interests. I can also cook interesting dishes for you.
