Overview
About Me
I´m a travelling student from Germany, always on search for new experiences and a life worth living. I´m about 23 or something years old, openminded and very easy going. I´m used to a rather precarious and alternative lifestyle. Maybe this is also the reason why I don´t like clubbing and drinking extraordinary amounts of alcohol. I´d rather have a big breakfast as the main social activity of the day :) I am very autonomous and that also doesn´t change during Couchsurfing, so I don´t feel obligated to spend the whole day with a surfer or a host.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
because it sucks to camp in the cities. And hands down: what is better to get in touch with a city than to get in touch with the people that live in it.
Interests
I don´t really know to be honest. I think infrastructure is a very important and interesting thing to worry and think about. I also have fun to read and learn about non-abrahamic religions and their cultural implementation. I think I´m a rather intellectual person, although I also have fun while doing sport, at least some sport: swimming, hiking, cycling. Now that I think of it, I probably like sport that has a movement from A to B in it. When I travel I like to cover rather big distances by hitchhiking, that is my preferable mode of how to get somewhere.
I feel very drawn to nature and a very original lifestyle, so I also really liek fishing, doing bonfires. Doing very simple physical work is a great way to relax for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
too much. The last 5 books I read were by Mo Yan, Haruki Murakami, Hermann Hesse, Peter Weiss and J.M. Coetzee. Poetry excluded. I read a lot already. Movie-wise I´m not that versed. Although I have a weakness for Wes Anderson and Coen Brothers. The rest of my favorites are rather random. I really liked Whiplash, since I listen to a lot of Jazz. Cowboy Bebop, also great.
