Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet people to travel around Japan with as well as meeting hosts that are willing to lend me their floor for a night or two!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a bit of rock/metal, as well as listening to classics such as REM, Blur. I'm also a sucker for cheesy 80s music!
I love watching movies and their soundtracks, and have a real passion for watching movies I've never seen before (if they're any good!)
As far as books go I love my popular science books (Richard Dawkins, for example) as well as non-fiction fantasy stories including books by Robin Hobb and George R R Martin. I love to read graphic novels too, either Marvel (Iron Man especially or the Civil War arc) and independent graphic novels and online comics (Nimona, Skin Deep).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I'm most proud of my artistic abilities, which grow and change every year. I feel that I'm at a rally good point in my art after practicing for years, but there's still a long way to go!

I'm eager to learn about different cultures and what makes them tick, so I bring an enthusiastic student to anyone's home (as long as they're willing to put up with a few questions!)
