About Me

CURRENT MISSION:
Travel and meet people all over the world, experience new cultures and enjoy the moment!
ABOUT ME:
I am a fun guy from Spain, and my passion is to travel as much as can and learn as many experiences as possible! I am always looking forward to meet new people and I am an easy-going and friendly person. I am open-minded and enjoy sharing my experiences and ideas and listening to other peoples's way of seeing the world.
Currently I am studying engineering in Spain. Next year I will finish my thesis and I will start a Master, probably in Renewable Energies, as it has always interested me.
In the year 2015/2016 I studied in Karlsruhe, Germany as an exchange student and it was such a life-changing experience! On 2016/2017 I will be studying with a scolarship in Florida, and I have so many things to do that I hope I can do all! My plans are to travel in the US as much as possible (specially both coasts) and also visit some friends at Cuba and Mexico. Also, if possible, I will go to Ultra Music Festival in Miami, part of my things-to-do list!
Apart from this, I have worked two years in Café y Calor and Albergue Covadonga. In these places, we volunteered to serve dinner to the poor and made them company during the evening. It was a great experience, it helps you to open your mind and become aware of the reality.

PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy the moment
Don't judge what you don't know
Learn from your defeats and make them victories
Remove superficial things, do what really makes you happy

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal as a couch surfer: entering as a stranger, leaving as friend.
My goal as a host: making people feel they are at home.

My ideal Couchsurfing experience would be to host people that I have stayed with in my place and to visit surfers that I have hosted in their countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I discovered Couchsurfing in April 2016, when I stayed at Aarons place in Zurich. I loved the experience, as it was a way better experience than any other form of travelling! Me and my best friend visited the whole city, and, at night, we cooked for Aaron some spanish dishes while he cooked for us a tofu and lemongrass soup, which, he told us, he learnt from the vegan Thai cuisine. In the end, we went to a Salsa club and, though we weren't great dancers, we had a lot of fun!

Interests

I love sports and tried almost all of them: soccer, basketball, tennis, padel, surfing, hiking, golf, skiing... In the end I practiced regularly soccer, as me and my friends had a team in which we had a lot of fun!
Living abroad also made me a cooking enthusiast: in the beggining, I could hardly fry an egg, but so far I have even cooked a simple molecular-cuisine dessert!
I also love music, specially Future, Progressive, Tech and G-House; of course some Pop music, and lately, my latin friends have introduced me to bachata and salsa music: SO COOL!
Also, I have discovered that happiness can be as easy as having a glass of good wine after dinner with a nice conversation. Happiness is in the small details!
Finally, where I live, there's so much green! Once in a while, I like to go to the deep mountain, take a breath and disconnect from everything

Music, Movies, and Books

I like classic electronic musicians (Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Tiesto...) and also new ones (Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens...). And a little bit of every genre too, from Andrea Bochelli to The Killers

My favourite Movies are those who make you think: Schindler's list, Memento, Fight Club- Also, of course, Tarantino ones!

I specially read classics, from Hemingway to Gabriel Garcia Marquez. A little bit of spanish poetry too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Ultra Music Festival in Croatia and making two Interrails.
