I'm a university student, studying communication, that enjoys life through people, adventure, culture and food! I have travelled mostly in Western Europe, having lived in France for about a year. When I travel, I'm the type that want's to be in a city for at least a week, in a way to try to understand it. Also, I will always try to find a sporting event or a concert to attend! Last, I work as a tour guide at a local tourist site, so I'm used to deal with tourist of all kinds, and hope that i'm not like some of them when I travel! ;)

A proud Acadian, French is my first language so i'm always ready to chat or teach you a bit of French (or even my local dialect call "Chiac").

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

As much as I have travelled in the past, I have never used Couchsurfing. This is a new experience and I'm pretty excited. I usually travel light and enjoy to take the time to meet people, so Couchsurfing seems like a great fit!

Intereses

Food, food and any kind of food (with a good local beer is bonus)! I like to taste and try anything!

I have a thing for attending sporting event. I plan a lot of my travelling around going to see some kind of sport. Their is something special with seeing sport and the talents of athletes live. Also, I have a lot of interest in the hosting of such event, hoping to work in that field later on in life. So I enjoy to notice all the little detail and planning around such events.

Música, películas y libros

I listen to variety of style depending on my mood. That said, a lot of it is Francophone, so I will always have a good recommandation if you want to discover something new.

Also, love attending concert. From classic to indie folk, I want to be there!

To be honest, i'm not the biggest reader or movie fan.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I worked in the planning and organisation of the FIFA Women's World Cup hosted by Canada this summer. Pretty big project and I loved contributing to it! Also, I got to meet Marta!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Great discussion and stories, and a couple of bad jokes! Also, always ready to help in the contribution of a meal (buying food and/or cooking) if it's of interest. Might have some Maple Sugar candies somewhere!
